My wife & I recently bought a 4-bed house in London. It needed to be renovated before we moved it. I searched on Google for a builder & came across Harlow Barrington. After reading through the testimonials, my wife & I decided to give them a shot. We have not been disappointed.
Ambrose was professional in his approach. He reviewed the property & surveyors report, then drafted a quote of all the work we needed to do on our house. We could not afford to do all the work at once, but Ambrose took time to discuss the quote highlighting the work that needed to be done immediately & the work that could wait a while. Once the quote was finalised & we paid our deposit, the work began to transform an ugly duckling of a house into a beautiful swan! The renovations to our house are exquisite. Done to a very high standard & most importantly, my wife approved 100%. This made me happy.
I know its not easy to find great builders, with some horror stories out there, but Ambrose & his team were really, really good. We plan to rehire them to extend our kitchen & dining room, to renovate one of our bathrooms & the front room, redesign our garden etc. We are look forward to again working with Ambrose & his team in the near future. Ambrose and the team are by far the best tradesmen I have come across. Their attention to detail and need to ensure each and every task is done to the best of their ability is just unheard of.
We appointed HBB for a rear two story and side extension, as well as some other internal work on a property that needed a full overhaul. Initially we had decided to try and do a lot of the work ourselves, but in the end we’ve since had them in for everything from bathrooms to kitchens and guttering to patios. There’s not been a job too big or small and each task has been carried out to perfection.
HBB has now become our go to for all the work around our property, as well as our future investment properties. Therefore we highly recommend them.

Harlow Barrington Ltd did an amazing job renovating my 3 bed house. I bought it run down and now it’s brand new. I had a basic idea of how I wanted the house to look and had a strict budget but they came with so many creative and innovative ideas to suit my budget. They gutted the whole house, refloored, replastered, rewired the electrics, painted, redesigned my stairs to create more space in my downstairs hallway. They rendered the outside and repainted. They built me a new wet room downstairs which I love as my visitors now do not need to go upstairs to use the bathroom, I can keep the upstairs private. They also landscaped my garden and built me new a shed and an outhouse. I absolutely love my new home and I highly recommend this company. They are professional and hardworking. No time wasting. “Rectified problems quickly”
About five weeks ago I had a new electric shower put into my bathroom (the electric had to be run into the bathroom etc) and I was extremely pleased with the job which was completed promptly and was very well finished. Unfortunately this weekend the shower stopped working, as there was a fault with the actual unit, but after getting in touch with Ambrose he sent someone round to identify the problem on Saturday afternoon and had a new shower installed by Sunday evening! They really went above and beyond, working at the weekend to sort this out for me. I will certainly be using them again!

Harlow Barrington Ltd were recommended to us by a family friend. Despite a very short timescale, and a very busy time of year (2weeks before Christmas), Ambrose was able to make our run down and out dated house warm, comfortable and above all very stylish!
Services included plastering, Asbestos removal, new flooring, painting and rewiring. A smart boiler system was also installed.
We were really impressed with Ambroses’ creativity, he understood our needs as a family. He was also very responsive to our ideas. The team made it possible for us to enjoy our first Christmas in our new home.
